About Us

Yaysan Indonesia-Jerman (YIJ) was founded in 1999 by former Indonesian Ambassador Air Marshal (ret.) Sukardi, former German Education and Cultural Attaché Prof. Dr. Soedijarto, and Dipl.-Ing. Anis Daud, an alumnus of the University of Wuppertal.

Visi

Yaysan Indonesia-Jerman aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, with a particular focus on enhancing educational and knowledge exchange.

Misi

YIJ views its mission as supporting Indonesians who wish to study, begin vocational training, or work as professionals in Germany. YIJ strives to build bridges between Indonesian and German educational institutions from an Indonesian perspective.

To this end, YIJ collaborates with various German representatives in Indonesia, including the German Embassy, DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), and the Goethe-Institut.
