Established in 2003, Studienkolleg Indonesia is the result of a German-Indonesian partnership between the Indonesia-Germany Foundation and the Studienkolleg of Leibniz University Hannover in the state of Lower Saxony. Studienkolleg Indonesia now operates from its own facility—the “Grey Building” in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD)—and is the only Studienkolleg located outside of Germany.

The differences between the Indonesian and German education systems necessitate thorough and effective preparation for prospective students wishing to pursue their education in Germany.

Assessment Test

The final *Studienkolleg* examination, known as the *Feststellungsprüfung*, is a state examination administered under the authority of the German government (specifically, the State Ministries of Education/KMK). It is conducted in Jakarta in collaboration with *Studienkolleg* Hannover, and the resulting qualification is recognized by higher education institutions in Germany—including both traditional universities and *Hochschulen* (universities of applied sciences).

Condition:

• School diploma with a minimum average grade of 85
• If the average diploma score is less than 85, taking the UTBK and achieving a minimum score of 500 is mandatory
• Grade 12 Report Cards (Odd and Even Semesters)
• German language proficiency at the B1 level
• Motivation letter
• Interview
• Pass the entrance exam (German and Mathematics)
