The Test of German as a Foreign Language (TestDaF) is a standardized language test for prospective students who no longer need to take an entrance exam but still need to demonstrate the German language skills required for university study. Participation in this test requires advanced German language skills (above B2 level).
The TestDaF consists of four sections (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). The TestDaF certificate is recognized by all German universities if you achieve at least TestDaF level (TDN) 4 (out of a maximum of five levels) in all four sections.
This exam is administered worldwide by more than 500 TestDaF centers.
In Indonesia, Studienkolleg Indonesia is the official licensed TestDaF center.
Further information can be found at www.testdaf.de
Exam fees: €160 for the paper-based exam and €155 for the TestDaF digital exam.
